Captain D`s Seafood Restaurant in Goose Creek

My grandson and I went there yesterday. Short wait time! Cashier's were polite. I went there last week through the drive through and they forgot my loaded potato. Asked for it yesterday and got it then. No questions asked!

Worth the drive thru wait for the grilled white fish and shrimp skewer. Enjoyed the cole slaw, corn, and okra (we pulled off most of the breading.) Green beans were just okay. We would like the bread stick separate so it wouldn't get soggy.

Their batter fried fish is the best! You can easily pay three times more, but it won't measure up.

Good food. I loved there players.

20min waiting in drive thru is ridiculous. Always a long wait time at this location. Needs a better manager that cares about customer's time.

The corn on the cob was good, the giant fish sandwich I had was not. I have not eaten from Captain D's in a while. When I ate there today I was disappointed. The sandwich had some kinda after taste. I will not eat at this location again.

The wait was long. And the food was disgusting. I had the Cajun pasta with a side salad. It was nothing but a bunch of look like leftover lettuce, and the pasta had no sauce of any kind on it was just dry pasta with shrimp on top. The best thing about that dinner was the breadstick. I wish I would have took a picture of the meal so I could show you exactly how horrible it was

Food is great. The reason for the 2 stars is that every time I go to this location, I wait in the drive through for at least 20 minutes. Today I waited for 40 minutes. I understand that I could just leave, but once you're there for 10 or 15 minutes, you're invested. Extremely slow, but my order was correct and the quality is good.

Every time I go to this Captain Ds they are ridiculously slow! I can understand being under staffed,but geesh the customer service needs work just the overall moral of the store needs improvement! This'll be my last time ordering from them!

The food took awhile to bring out. And then they forgot the loaded baked potato and then we told them they forgot it, they brought out a regular baked and we had to go back to the counter. By then the food was cold. We got mac and cheese as 1of the extras and paid 99 cents for about 1/4 cup. And the food wasnt hot. And the fish could have been cooked a little longer.

I tried the white fish with crab cake . I need a break and stopped there. I love captain D's but the rice was not hot crab cake burnt I ate salad and coleslaw they showed an extra 99¢ for baked potato but not extra 39¢ for salad. Not very pleased, at all

I don’t have a problem with waiting. My problem is with customer service! They don’t know how to take orders properly, and they don’t know how to multitask. This location needs a new manager! I’m very irritated most of the time. It took me a long time to actually leave a review because I am normally at least satisfied with my food. I am even patient enough to wait for it, but the level of unprofessional treatment is unbelievable! Rehire everybody!

Was excellent today around three today December 9th and the fries were crispy not wiggly like usual the cook needs to teach the other cooks how it's done way to go

Ordered my food through the drive thru and called them when I got home to tell them it was wrong and Lady who rang me up told me she couldnt hear me well. So I went back with the food in hand and was issued a refund and they tried to charge me again! Service was 🗑

We ordered online and our order was ready right on time. Food was good. I cannot speak for every day or the inside dining.

Always slow with filling orders and always messing up orders. If you go be prepared to wait at least 30 mins with only a couple customers in line. Don’t recommend going there if your in a rush or dont like to wait. I waited 30 mins with only three people in front of me and I only ordered 2 meals.

I place my order with the young lady and I asked her to make sure that everything was fresh, when I got my order my food was cold. I waited in the Drive thru for 30 minutes for fresh food the next cashier had no idea what I was waiting on. I had to tap on the window to ask what was the hold up was. This Location really need to train their employees.

Food was great, but respectable customer service was seriously lacking. The 2 immature cashiers up front was making very rude remarks & jokes about their customers in front of other customers. They don't take their jobs seriously and have No Proper Manners!? They don't need to be employed their!!

Jennifer is the best manager! She always goes out of her way to make sure that we are served quickly and with a smile. We love this location! We drive to this one, even though we are closer to another. It’s cleaner, the staff rocks, and the food is always delicious. ❤️

I usually get take out. Today we ate in and the food was sooo good. It was fresh and warm and tasty.

Not sure this place is worth one star. 37 min to get the food while the drive through served car after car.. My Dad had a similar experience a couple weeks ago. Soup was microwaved in the styro container. Needless to say, didn't eat that... Just pathetic looking fish. No truth in advertising from TV. IF YOU HAD TO GO HERE, MORAL OF THE STORY IS, YOU NEED TO GO THROUGH THE DRIVE-THRU AND HAVE PATIENCE

I use to love coming here but it's gone downhill. The drive thru wait is longer than what it should be and the staff seems lazy. The last order we received in the drive thru, after sitting there for 40 minutes, was awful. The chicken tenders looked more like nuggets, the fries were raw so we had to cook them in our oven. The tartar sauce was in a cup, which was odd but could be overlooked, and the green beans weren't filled up. We also received an excess amount of cuttlery which we did not ask for which seemed wasteful. After emailing the manager he at gave us a refund but we won't be coming back here for a long time.

Our Captain D's in Moncks Corner has done a great renovation of its store! The atmosphere is one that seemed to invite Baby Boomers especially on Sundays! The cashiers and employees are very accommodating and no matter how rude a few Baby Boomers can be the cashiers continue with a smile and great service!!!!!

Service was slow & it just seemed dirty to me. The worker left the busy order line to refill the already stocked straws in the dining area. It just seemed like an unpleasant experience compared to other fast food restaurants.

I pulled in the drive thru at 4pm, placed my order at 4:20, received my food at 4:30. There were only 4 cars ahead of me. The food was warm when I got it, tasted ok, not great. But for waiting 30 minutes, I expected better quality. However, the girl at the window was friendly. I will not be going back to this location.

My mom likes the food but the line of the drive through was very slow.

Customer service was subpar, but the food was great. My mother and I ordered take out from Captain Ds, after leaving my mother told me we were missing vegetables on each tray but didn`t want to argue or wait any longer. Service wise, tonight I was disgusted to witness someone in the kitchen yell across the restaurant to a young cashier fixing orders. After an aggressive shuffle of trays the cashier left to the back without saying a word.

I really enjoy there food at Cap'n D'z however they have never been able to keep up with the "Fast" in the "Fast Food" but I completely understand and I respect that in them.. Seems to be how they maintain the four Stars from me! 4.5 if that was an option.. Thanks Guys keep up the great work....

This Captain D’s isn’t a joke, first I wait in drive thru bout five-ten minutes then when I finally get to the speaker it takes two people to take my order and then they still couldn’t get it right until I got up to the window I ordered the seafood feast with double fries which was initially fries and green beans but since they couldn’t get it right I just went with double fries then when I get home I see something in the plate that’s supposed to be three pieces of fish but in actuality it was 1piece of fish that’s been cut in half to make two pieces and then another half of a fish for pretty close to 10$ it’s highway robbery I think and the management was not acceptable as well so I just waisted 10.00 for a LIE false advertisement the pictures on the board looks NOTHING like the food in the plates but that’s good customer service

Clean and tidy inside, friendly staff and food was delicious, love the prices and really good choices on the menu
